Star

Star is approximately a 6-year-old off-track thoroughbred (OTTB). Star has raced in her lifetime but retired because she did not enjoy the track. Star came to us with a painful injury to her left eye that required it to be surgically removed. Although we do not know her full history it is evident Star has experienced quite a bit of trauma in her life and is learning to trust people again. Star is happiest in a herd environment where she has space to roam and be with other horses. Star would be a perfect pasture puff. She wants to be friends, is easy to catch, and stands for the farrier. With more time and the right person, she could potentially be started under saddle. Stars adoption fees will be waived for anyone who can provide vet, trainer/barn manager references!
